Ticket Exchange - 2015

We're sold out this year - and that's going to lead to more possibility that as we near the end of ticket picking - you may find the available dates don't work for you.  Or maybe not for your section.

There are some options.  We may still have a few seats left over in the end.  We may be able to do some trading within the group.  But we can also take advantage of an enhanced ticket exchange program from the Twins.

The basics:
  • We can exchange as many as 20 games (up from 8 in 2014) - And this is actually 20 games from the Field Box seats, 20 games from Andy A.'s two Club seats and 20 games from Ray's two Club seats.
  • Exchange any upcoming game in the package for a same or lesser tier game (example: Exchange a "select" game for any future "select, value or extra value" game)
  • Exchange must be requested at least one week prior to the game date being exchanged and game being requested
  • Tickets for selected games will be in similar or lower priced seating areas based on ticket availability.
  • When we figure out the variable-pricing balances, your cost for the tickets will be the price for the original seats before the exchange.
  • April 13 not available
  • Tickets will come to the account via email to be printed out and cannot be exchanged again
  • Once exchanged, the original tickets are void (you can't change your mind)
  • As far as I know currently, only the season ticket holder can make the exchange request and it must be done via an online form.  You'll need to do this well in advance.
Some examples from 2014
  • I traded in a couple of games from Section 103, Row 6 and ended up with tickets still in Section 103, but up in about rows 22-27.
  • I traded in a game for Section 121 (we no longer have) and got seats in Section 122.

Because of the nature of the Legends Club ticket accounts (2 different people have accounts of 2 seats each), I don't yet know if I can do 4 Legends Club trade ins to get 4 together....To be determined.

You can also think about this if a series you want is closed out.  Say that you want to see the Cubs, but all the games are taken for June 19-21.  You could pick tickets for a game of similar value (Elite pricing for all 3) and eventually trade in those tickets for the Cubs game you'd prefer.  Not a lot of Elite tickets in this season...but it's a limited option.

Or, perhaps use one of those tickets you need to take for April or September and trade it in for a warmer choice in June-August
