Twins Season Tickets - Looking for Additional Partners for 2017

This season ticket group is entering its 17th season and we've lost a few people from 2016 and are looking to find some additional fans to join in.

Current Status (3/16/17): 42 Unsold Field Box Seats

You can get 2 or 4 tickets per game

Current buy-in is at a minimum of 12 tickets.
If you're getting tickets in a block of 4, that's just 3 games for the season.  2 seats at a time? 1 game per month.

See below for prices - you'll get the season ticket discount for all tickets that is below face value.  Note that the Twins have variable pricing for all games, we settle up later so that you pay the actual price for the game.

We pick games via a lottery system.  In each round, people get a chance to pick an open game.  The more tickets you have, the better chance you have of being picked earlier in the round.

In order to spread out the "pain" of early April or late September games, each member must take a game in either April or September.

Seat Locations:

Field Box

Normal price - $32 / Price range: $18-$46
Our price is $5 below face value
A 12-ticket buy in would be $384
Section 103, Row 6, Seats 21-24 (aisle)

Legends Club - SOLD OUT in 2017

Normal price - $58 / Price range: $31-$85
Our price is $10 below face value
Section G, Row 5, Seats 16-17 (aisle)

Sold out this year, but get into the group and you'll have a chance in future seasons to buy in.

CATCH Preview

No furniture yet...but this is the area we'll have in CATCH.  Rows 1 & 2 of assigned seating are at the rails on the left.

We still have a few CATCH tickets available for these dates:

  • 3 PM Mon, April 11 vs White Sox for the Home Opener**
  • 7 PM Wed, April 13 vs White Sox
  • 7 PM Tue, April 26 vs Cleveland
  • 7 PM Thur. May 19 vs Toronto
  • 1 PM Mon. September 5 vs Kansas City - Labor Day
Note - I still need to pick at least one more of these games for myself, so I might say at the time you pick that one is unavailable

It's a pair of tickets for each game - they are $75 each and this includes all food and drink offered that night in the club, including beer and wine - unlimited!  A cash bar is also available for liquor (and maybe more wine choices?).

Our tickets this year are standing room - with high top tables/stools available in front of the bar and some cabana-style seating in the rear.  **Opening Day tickets have assigned seats in Row 2 - and are $80 each as a result.

John Schultz and I had a chance to tour the space on Monday plus sample some of their planned food. They said for each game, they will have an entree, a side, I think a vegetarian option (not sure if that's included as the "side"), some snacking/salad options, and desserts.  Beer will be the Bud products, Summit EPA and Saga, and Nordeast.

The preview meal had more things than would be available at any one game, but here is a sample of what you'll see:
Balsamic Glazed Beef Tenderloin with Caramelized Fennel and Onion Jam, Grilled Tuscan Chicken, Roasted Seasonal Vegetables (with Caper Herb Vinaigrette), Linguine and Clams

Panzanella Salad: Heirloom Tomatoes, Perlini Mozzarella, Fresh Basil, Grilled Bread

Ricotta & Goat Cheese, Pistachios, with Toasted Lavash, Prosciutto Crostini with Fig Balsamic Jam and Micro Arugula, Tomato Basil Potato Chips

Not pictured included the dessert choices and some Parmesan Truffle Popcorn

Here are some other details
  • You enter from the upper deck in center field, below the Minnie & Paul sign.  That's the location of the new Minnie & Paul's bar available to all fans.  Stairs descend from Minnie & Paul's to CATCH.  The club holds as many as 150 people, but they said they'd only have about 115 max per game so it won't be jam packed.
  • The assigned seats themselves aren't covered, but the bar/standing area is, plus there are heat lamps that will be on when the temperature is below 50 degrees.
  • Ticket holders will have to scan in and scan out (you can't get 4 people in on 2 tickets, though I suppose you could exit and hand off your ticket to someone else).
  • The club opens when the gates open (90 minutes before game time on weekdays, 2 hours on weekends).
  • Like Hrbek's, Town Hall Tavern, etc., the bar does not close at the 7th inning, although you cannot take drinks out of the area after that time.
  • The club closes 1 hour after the game ends (and continues to serve until that time)
  • No restrooms in the area - you'll need to go out on the concourse.
  • You could also bring in food from other parts of the ballpark, including from the Minnie & Paul's bar above which has a Pizza Luce stand and a Red Cow stand.
The seating locations at the left will have monitors for every two seats (Microsoft Surface, I believe).  You can also see on the right that there are TV monitors in the back to see the game action.

No furniture when we were there, but there are 2 alcoves on each side of the bar for the cabana seating - the couches will hold 10-15 people with a large table.  Note the heat lamps in the ceiling.

View from the front row

View from our standing location - you will miss what happens at the walls...kind of like being in the Metrodome CF upper deck.  The front row seats are normal chairs, the 2nd row a little bit taller stools.  Standing, you should be able to see over both.

Still working on the bar 7 days before the opener

Inspiration for the name CATCH

Seat Locations - Looking for 2013 Buyers

Here's a repost of a 2011 note...we're looking for more ticket buyers in 2013 to fill out our season ticket package.  Need people to come in at a minimum of 10 tickets - but ideally more so we're not spread too thin.

Right now we have openings for:
48 Diamond Box
24 Field Box

We pick games later - typically on a Saturday afternoon in March (date this year still TBD)
When picking games you can get 2 or 4 tickets together.

Twins introduced full variable pricing for tickets this year including for season tickets, so prices are a bit dependent upon which games you get.

Diamond Box

Diamond Box seats: Section 121, Row 3, Seats 1-4.  Season ticket price for 2013 = $40 on average and that's a $7 discount compared to face value.

Field Box

Field Box seats: Section 103, Row 6, Seats 21-24 (aisle)  The pictures are from Row 7, but we just moved up a row for 2013.  Season ticket price for 2013 =  an average of $31.  Tickets are $5 cheaper than face value.

Open Tickets as of March 1

I'd like to try to sell these off without adding too many new people to the group.

Want to take some more games in 2012?
Maybe you can get above the 30-ticket mark to get bonus picks (see below)
Maybe a friend of yours wants tickets without buying the 10-ticket minimum to get into the group.
Maybe you're looking for a good gift for someone.
Maybe you can help out by buying a few tickets as an investment and resell them via StubHub.

Available as of 3/1/12 7 AM:
8 Legends Club tickets @ $58 each (Section G, Row 5)
6 Diamond Box tickets @ $40 each (Section 121, Row 3)
22 Field Box tickets @ $31 each (Section 103, Row 7)

2010 Target Field Seating

Three different seat locations in 2010 - See the links below for seating charts and 3-D representations of what the view will be like from the seats.

Prices listed are season-ticket package prices, which in the Dome were $5-10 below face value.

Master seating chart - and see photo below in the Sept. 2 posting.

Estimated availability by seating area.

Field Box Seats - This is what's still open

Just across the aisle, tickets in "Diamond Box" cost $38
Here we're 7 rows from the field down the right field line. The seats are turned toward the infield.

For the next 2 sections, we have limited or no availability for new members to the group (joining in November 2009 and later).  While we pick games on a random basis, the priority for number of seats available goes by seniority in the group.  But get in now and there is future opportunity.

Legends Club
All tickets include access to the club amenities for that game.
Price: $55 each
Section G, Row 5, Seats 14-17
On the aisle closest to home plate
3-D View

Diamond Box Seats

Section 121, Row 3, Seats 1-4

Direct view of the downtown skyline - in the sun for all afternoon games.
3-D View
Just across the aisle, tickets in "Home Plate Box" cost $50
The section in front of us is Section 15 - "Dugout Box" seats that cost $69 each
Section 15 has 15 rows...then there's a dividing wall, then we're in Row 3 of the next section.  So consider this maybe about 20 rows from the field.
